Joining the club

I am now switching to a new system for JOINING this club:

TO JOIN THE CLUB

To join, simply devwatch the club. You no longer need to send in a join request.
Please do put our club icon in your journal

I am discontinuing the "members pages" as they take a lot of work to maintain.. But new members will be displayed in the journal updates.

Once you have devwatched the club, you will receive club updates and notes etc. and be elligible to join in club activities (including competitions, submitting artwork to the +FAV Gallery, voting etc.)



TO LEAVE THE CLUB
To leave, simply cancel your devwatch of the club.

TO AFFILIATE WITH THE CLUB

1. First please DEVwatch the club ...THEN...
2. Send us a NOTE titled AFFILIATE and tell us you would like to become an affiliate.
3. Please put a copy of our club logo in your journal and we will put your logo in our journal at the next update session.

PLEASE NOTE - Devwatching the club alone will NOT make you an affiliate.
PLEASE NOTE - All affiliate requests MUST be sent by NOTE (requests in messages / comments will be ignored)
PLEASE NOTE - Affiliates who do not display our club logo in icon form will be removed from our affiliates page. (Devname form is too hard to read when there are lots of names) - Also your affiliates page must be easy to find, with a link from your front journal. If it is too hard to find, your logo will be removed from our affiliates list.

Artwork and the +FAV Gallery

This club will now house ALL its artwork in the FAVOURITES GALLERY. This way members and visitors can fave anything they like, and the original artwork will ALWAYS be the one to get the fave! Please treat the +FAV gallery as if it were the main gallery. Only CLUB MEMBERS' deviations may be submitted to the +FAV Gallery.

What kind of artwork does this club support?

This club WILL support the following:

Death Note related artworks
Fully coloured artworks of the DeathNote Characters (no OCs please)
Fully shaded pencil drawings (not pencil doodles)
INKED and complete linearts (not pencil linearts)
VERY MILD yaoi / yuri / hetero love - (kissing / cuddling) will be accepted (no X-rated stuff please)
Photographs of DeathNote Cosplay - Please be sure to name the character(s) in your description.

This list may be added to in the near future.

This club will NOT support the following:

none Death Note related artworks
No pencil linearts, scraps / WIP pics, doodles / quick sketches
No extreme violence / gore, or sexual violence including 'Hentai'
No 'hate' art.
No extreme or sexual yaoi (including violent seme / uke relationships and obvious sex).
No fully nude (penis) artworks (open shirt / shirtless is ok tho)
No extreme sexual pics
No animal versions of non-animal characters. If you really want one, then it must be presentable.

After consideration I think it is best if we do not to cater for fanfics in the +Fav Gallery. (Visual art only) - sorry for the inconvenience.

SUBMISSION OF ART

How to submit artwork to the +FAV Gallery

unlimited submissions

Send us a NOTE titled SUBMIT containing a THUMBNAIL -OR- link to your artwork _{preferrably thumbnail..}

Please include our club's icon on the artist's comments on your artwork.

** ALL submissions will be added to the +FAV gallery from now on - (the originals will still be housed on your own site so you will get all the faves)

(I reserve the right to not use any piece which I feel is not suited to our club theme, or which does not adhere to the +Fav gallery guidelines, or which I feel is too poorly illustrated eg: scraps, WIPs, quickie doodles etc)

SUBMISSION OF CONTEST ENTRY

How to submit an ENTRY for a contest by this club

Send us a NOTE titled ENTRY containing a THUMBNAIL -OR- link to your artwork
_{prefferrably THUMBNAIL...} for competition entries.
state in your artist's comments that it's an entry for our contest


PLEASE DO NOT DELETE YOUR ENTRY from your own gallery until the contest is over or else your entry will become invalid.

Maximum of 2 entries are allowed..



** I will add them to a special folder in the +FAV gallery - (the originals will still be housed on your own site so you will get all the faves)
